Been away for a while. The doctor gave me medicine that made me sicker than the sickness. I finished it this weekend and I believe I feel a bit better.
I go back this weekend for some tests. I will be glad to get that over with and hopefully some medicine to get me on the road to getting well. I'm tired of vegging on the couch.
I haven't even been doing any writing to speak of and delayed sending in my 7th LRWG assignment. I think I will try to finish that up and get it sent in this week.
I do believe I am addicted to books. It's time I admit that I guess. Doug complains about all my books and that I always have my nose stuck in one. I never go anywhere without one stuck in my purse. I am almost never not reading one. Then yesterday, I went to the grocery store just to pick up a few things for supper. I walked by the book section and told myself I was not going to go look at books. I didn't have much money. I was in a hurry to get back home. So, I steeled myself and walked on over to the canned vegetable section to pick up my final selection. But then I couldn't stand it! Even if I couldn't buy one that day, I wanted to look at them. Just look. I couldn't leave the store until I had . I went to the book section and my eyes feasted on the lovely colorful covers. I mentally picked out which one's I wanted to take home. Which one's I wanted to check out of the library. Which one's I wanted to look for at Walmart or the second hand bookstore when I got my pay check. Is there a bookworms anonomous anywhere??? LAWD HEP ME!
