I just spent the morning playing with the little strange girl. No, she's not strange. She's Steve Strange's little girl. Now he is strange, but I think youth ministers have to be. It was a fun way to spend the morning. More fun than what I am usually working on all morning. I printed out some Disney pictures for her and then went to Yahooligans and found some Nick, Jr. games for her to play and an online coloring book. She is younger than Brandi, but acts so grown-eeee! Like a little bitty 20 year-old. I wished I had brought Brandi with me today, they could have played together this morning.
I had a bit of success with something yesterday. It is a bit too private to write about on a public blog, but I'll probably tell my friends about it if I see them online. Just say, something I had thought was impossible seems possible now. That is if I don't get a phone call saying they did a check on me and now won't let it go through. If it does work out, it's definately God's doing. Luck could never have done this for me. Now I am thinking I have a lot of things to straighten out. I'm starting to think maybe I can, instead of there's no way.
March is here as of Monday. I have been so lazy all of February, due to getting used to some new medicines and generally feeling under the weather a lot. In fact, this dreary weather may be part of the cause. BUT the lazy bum time is OVER. Time to get it together and get some things done. Seriously!! Someone come and kick my hiney if I don't get myself motivated.
I don't have any concrete plans for the weekend. This morning I told my son Paul that we need to get out and do something other than just laying around the house vegetating. If the weather is good we could go to the park. If not, maybe go bowling. We need to do something to get our blood moving. It feels really stagnated right now!!! Cabin fever. I think everyone has it!
