I has been a rough week this week!
My son got sick at school Wednesday and I had to go get him. I have been home with him the past 2 days. He had the stomach virus, throwing up thing. I am not sure if it was a virus or food poison. I will know in the next few days, if we all come down with it or not.
In spite of the fact that he was sick, I think he enjoyed his 2 days off and the time we spent together. We watched a Lifetime movie together yesterday and it was the first Lifetime movie he's ever liked. It was "Children of the Bride." It's a hilarious movie. One of the daughter's is a nun. In one scene her brother tells her (the nun) to go try to seduce this guy who just got home. She says she doesn't know how but their other brother is in the house with the man's wife. So, the nun acts ridiculous and before long everyone is staring at her. When she sees her brothers come out of the man's house she excuses her self to go take her "medication." Later there is a bar room type brawl and everyone jumps in, including the nun and everything comes to a screeching halt when the nun's sister screams for the man not to hit her (the nun, of course) because she's pregnant. You can't beat a bar room brawl with a pregnant nun in the middle of it all. I wish I could come up with stuff like that!
Valentines day weekend. Oh yes, and today is Friday the 13th. I'm not sure if I should rent romantic movies or horror movies. Fortunately this Friday the 13th has not been too bad. For the weekend we will probably rent movies, grill steaks and I promised Brandi a small party tomorrow, since I was unable to be at her party at her school. I have big guilt about missing her party. I couldn't take off again today though because I have missed 2 days already this week. But it is so hard when your 5 year old looks up at you with huge blue eyes and says, "You can come to my party tomorrow momma, if you wants to." So now I wonder does she think that I just don't "wants" to? MOMMY GUILT! Oh no, make it go away. This will haunt me for years..............
